Design 1894 Sunmaid V


Two boats were built to this One Ton Cup design. It is yet another example of further development of the Clarionet type, design #1857. Sunmaid V was built of wood by the Clare Lallow yard of Cowes, England and launched in 1967. The design features the separate skeg and rudder that had come into vogue at the time.

The boat shown here is her sister, Tina (of Melbourne). I can find no record of her builder on file but can only assume she was built in Australia.
